Our Basic Life Support (BLS) Course is designed for healthcare providers, first responders, and anyone who works in the healthcare field. This hands-on course covers essential skills in recognizing cardiac arrest, providing high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) effectively. Participants will also learn team-based resuscitation techniques, choking relief, and how to manage breathing emergencies.
This course is designed to help you gain the confidence and competence needed to perform life-saving interventions in real-world situations. This course is recognized for use in the workplace by the WSIB
Led by certified instructors, our in-person training is designed to be engaging and fun, keeping you busy with hands-on activities and skills. Our instructors will keep you engaged and active, with no need for staring at the clock!
The Basic Life Support certificate is valid for 1 year and will be given to you by the instructor at the end of the training day.
Basic Life Support CPR Level C with AED - Ottawa East
This course is from 9am to 1pm at the Holiday Inn Ottawa East Hotel, 1199 Joseph Cyr Street, St Laurent. Your training will take place in one of the hotel's large conference rooms, equipped with chairs, tables, and a presentation system. The class is taught in relaxed manner where everyone is made to feel comfortable. You will have a 15 minute break in the morning. Parking is free.
